Starting over

Repositioned some of my holdings in the new year. Picked up healthcare, REIT, utilities and SPY. So far not fairing too bad. Still haven't seen that big pullback. We are overdue. When it happens it could be a big one. Earnings are coming in mixed for many of the big names. This week is going to be full of more earnings so that could really cause a lot of volatility.

Cashing in

Raised some cash. Holding EEM,EFA, IWD and IWN for now. Eyeing buying a REIT of all things, it has a beautiful yield. Also thinking about picking up XLE, though maybe not. I feel that the giddiness of this market has to flee at some point. I think it may be soon. I will be thinking about unloading the other positions that I am holding if we break down some more. Then, I have to be patient and scale back in slowly.
